Shetland Wool Week hat kits

Shetland Wool Week is a world renowned celebration of Britain’s most northerly native sheep, the Shetland textile industry and the rural farming community on these islands. For the last few years, the festival has offered a free hat pattern that celebrates some aspect of the islands.

The official 2024 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern the ‘Islesburgh Toorie’ has been exclusively designed by the Doull family as the SWW Patrons for 2024.

We've put together kits that mimic the original colorways all using Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight or Shetland Spindrift.

These kits have the required number of colors of yarn. They do NOT include the pattern.
