Knit Your First Slipover

A slipover is just a fun name for a sleeveless sweater, and there are so many cute designs for them right now! There are also great reasons to learn how to make one. You'll learn important garment-making skills you might not learn in making a top-down sweater, like picking up stitches and moving from flat knitting to circular in a project. Maybe most importantly.....you won't get stuck on sleeve island!

In this class we will make the Novice Slipover by Petiteknit. It's a great way to get familiar with her pattern-writing style, which will prepare you  graduate to a Frankie or Olga sweater for your next project.

You must already know how to knit and purl, and there is pre-work to be done BEFORE class begins. Please ask us how to make a gauge swatch so you can have it made and blocked to bring with you to the first session.
