Description

Knitted brioche fabric is squishy and ridiculously warm. It also has a rep for being hard to do! We think you will be pleasantly surprised to discover that once you get the hang of it, it's quite rhythmic and intuitive. You will learn how to read brioche patterns, simple 2-color brioche in the round, and basic brioche decreases.

You must already know how to knit and purl to take this class, and it will be helpful (but not required) if you have made something in the round as well.

What You'll Need

Harlow Flip Hat pattern by Andrea Mowry

See pattern for needle and notions requirements.

Heavy DK or worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors. We love using one self-striping yarn along with a contrasting solid color. The more contrast you have, the easier it will be to see the stitches. We recommend Malabrigo Merino Worsted, Berroco Vintage or Soft Donegal for a solid color choice, and Making Tracks DK as the striper. Its totally fine to use 2 solid colors too!
