Learn to Knit a Bottom-Up Sweater

Description

The Carbeth is one of our hands-down favorite sweaters! Making a Carbeth will teach you how to make a gauge swatch and choose the perfect size to knit, cast on the body and sleeves and knit them from the bottom up, and then join them all together to knit the yoke. 

You must already know how to knit and purl to take this class, and experience knitting in the round is helpful but not required.

There is homework for this class. Please stop in to the shop the week prior to class to get your materials and learn how to make a gauge swatch.

Purchase and download the Carbeth pattern here.

Refer to the pattern for for yardage requirements and needle sizes.
