Laine Magazine Issue 31

Our winter issue, Laine 31, Lingering, invites you to enjoy a staycation in a charming small town. Wander with us through the quiet, snowy streets of Porvoo, one of Finland’s oldest cities — wrapped up in cosy woollen garments and accessories, of course! The issue offers an abundance of styles and techniques: captivating textured stitches, vintage-inspired lace, simple stockinette stitch, different kinds of colourwork, and the perfect all-over cabled sweater for all you cable lovers out there!

Designers featured in this issue: Eun Mi Ahn, Fiona Alice, Alice Caetano, Joanna Filip, Sarah Hatton, Kirsten Joel, Kaori Katsurada, Henna Ketonen, Thien-Kieu Lam, Rebekka Mauser, Heli Rajavaara, Lisa Richardson, Lili Tobias, Lív Ulven and Julia Wilkens.

We also meet the academic and wool advocate Melissa M. Littlefield (@knittingthestash), visit the Michigan Fine Yarns yarn store, and get style inspiration from Erika Sininärhi (@yksisilmukkakerralla). Our Five Ways article shares helpful tips for curating and organizing our yarn stash.
