January Learn to Knit

Description

Take your first steps into the world of knitting!  In this class, you will learn the knit and purl stitches while making a pair of simple fingerless mitts.  Watch for the Learn to Knit a Hat class to advance your skills.

You do not need to bring or purchase anything in advance. After the first session, we will take you on a little tour of the shop and guide your purchases for homework and second session.

Class meets 2 Saturdays, January 18th and 25th from 10am-noon.

 

What You'll Need

You do not need to purchase in advance or bring any materials with you. We will provide yarn and hooks for practice use, and after the first class we will lead a tour of the shop to talk about yarn and guide you on purchasing all the supplies for your mitts.
