Jamieson and Smith Jumper (fingering) weight yarns are 100% Shetland wool and are traditionally used in the knitting of Fair Isle garments. Available in a  palette of beautiful shades originally designed by Jamieson and Smith, this yarn is their flagship yarn, and cannot be imitated in terms of depth of color and spinning quality - although many have tried! 2ply refers to the plies in the yarn. This yarn is perfect for the Shetland Wool Week hats. Tracy made a Paul Klee Sweater.

Please Note: 2ply Jumper Weight does not have names for shades, only numbers. The price tags may also have a name on them, these are from the spinner and again just a reference, go by the shade number. Although every effort has been made here to photograph the shade as near as possible, different screens may change how it looks.

Suggested Needle Size: US3/3.5mm

Tension: 28 sts and 36 rows over 4 inches using 3mm needles
