This year, the Stix Chx are hitting the road.

Cameron and Tracy are traveling to six remarkable places across Montana — following the scenery, stopping when something catches their eye, and seeing where the road takes them.

Along the way, Tracy is doing something she's never done quite like this before: designing a blanket as she goes.

And you're invited to come along.
The journey

Six places. A lot of inspiration. No finished blanket — yet.

At every stop, Tracy is looking closely — at the landscape, the shapes, the textures, the details you might miss if you weren't paying attention. She snaps photos, pockets a few rocks, and talks it all through with Cameron. Then she brings it all home to the studio.

You'll watch an idea found somewhere in Montana change — through sketches, conversations, swatches and plenty of experimentation — into something you can make with your own hands.

We're not showing you the blanket yet.
Right now, we're still telling you how it came to be.
