All of the Stix Chix are super excited to welcome you to a new Bozeman tradition this weekend: the Bozeman Fiber Market! Join us in our parking lot on Saturday the 11th from 10-am-4pm to shop with local fiber producers, indie dyers, and makers of lots of fun yarn-adjacent products.
In addition to some great shopping, we will be offering some beautiful items donated by the market vendors for a silent auction to benefit the Montana Fibershed. They will have a table at the market and would love to meet you and share their work, but here is a little info about them if you are not yet familiar.
What is this thing called a fibershed? A fibershed is a "geographical landscape that defines and gives boundaries to a natural textile resource base, engendering appreciation, connectivity, and sensitivity for the life-giving resources within our homelands."
Think “watershed”, only fiber. Where does our fiber come from? Where do our clothes come from? Fiber is yet another farm product that has gotten so far away from its roots, many people don’t even know how or where their clothing is made.

Vendors include Ranching Tradition, Serenity Sheep Farm, Sweet Mountain, Western Sky Knits and others who are fiber-related but not necessarily yarn. You can see more vendors tagged on Instagram.
Do you have a list of vendors?
The Fiber market is on Saturday from 10am – 4pm
Am I the only one that is confused? Does it run all week? You have cited dates from 7/7 to 7/11. What day is it actually?
