Classes & Events

We would love to see you at Parking Lot Crafter Evening on Thursdays through the summertime! Bring your own camp chair, beverage and a project and sit outdoors with us, all while maintaining social distance.

Our indoor social knitting chairs and tables are closed for now. In order to maintain social distance, we are happy to correct mistakes in your project, but can not offer "hands-on" teaching at this time.

Sharing our love and knowledge of knitting and crochet is the best part of our job! We are known in southwest Montana for the quality and diversity of classes that we teach, as well as our willingness to share our expertise and offer help with projects. Learning new things is addictive, and we are so happy seeing you progress as students!

Lavender Wand Workshop

 Monday, August 10

5 - 7 pm

Join Brigitte to learn how to create your own lavender wand at a table al fresco! Close your eyes and pretend you are in the south of France instead of on West Mendenhall Street in Bozeman. 🤣

Learning the art of weaving a lavender fuseau (wand) is not difficult but requires patience and time.

These sachets made of ribbon and lavender were used primarily to ward off moths in textiles and roving since the Middle Ages.

Lavender is a natural moth repellent, and wands & sachets are beautiful keepsakes and gifts.

Brigitte will provide all the supplies that you need to make your wand.

If you have a piece of ribbon that you wish to use, bring 3 yards.

Give us a call to sign up, space is limited!

Workshop fee: $25
