A linen double gauze of aquamarine on one side and a coral red on the other. Tumbled at the mill for softness, this fabric would be beautiful for dressmaking as well as for soft furnishings like cushions and throws.
Double gauze consists of two layers of fine open woven linen. They are attached together with tiny stab stitches at regular intervals, usually every centimeter, in a grid pattern.
This cloth is suitable for the Bantam and Heron patterns in the Merchant & Mills Workbook.
