Tunisian Crochet is a cross between knitting and crocheting. In this two-session class, you will learn the simple Tunisian crochet stitch while making a simple vest. The vest has a simple shape and is easy to adjust for size.
We will use a 7.0mm tunisian crochet hook; this hook is included with the class fee.
Yarn requirements: Worsted weight yarn, 650-1800 yards depending on size vest. We recommend Malabrigo Rios, Brooklyn Tweed Shelter or Tones, or Berroco Vintage
Familiarity with basic crochet skills are required to take this class.
Class will meet in the Stix Underground: Saturday, January 22nd, 4:00-5:00 and Saturday, January 29th, 4:00-5:00
As always, we ask that you purchase yarn for a class you are taking at Stix from Stix. This allows us to continue to offer fun classes to teach you new skills! If possible, please have yarn purchased and wound prior to start of class so that we can maximize your teaching time.
Masks required to attend.
