Join Tracy for a 2-session Zoom class and make a super-cute cardigan! The Felix Cardigan uses worsted weight yarn at a loose gauge to make a light-weight yet warm garment. We have chosen Brooklyn Tweed Shelter for ours, and as a bonus, added a strand of fuzzy Sensai silk and mohair.
Other great choices would be Brooklyn Tweed Tones, Berroco Vintage, Lett Lopi, or Woolfolk Far. We will be hosting a Facebook Live shopping session on Saturday, January 29 at 4pm MST. Join us there to see all your options!
In this class you will learn the basics of top-down garment construction, along with a touch of basic lace.
This sweater is suitable for a first-time sweater; basic knit and purl knowledge is pre-requisite to take this class.
To get the most out of our meeting times, completion of a blocked gauge swatch is highly recommended before class begins. Please refer to the pdf you will receive upon registration for swatching guidance.
Class will meet Saturday, February 12 from 9:30-11am and Saturday, February 26 from 9:30-11am. (3rd session TBD)
As always, we ask that you purchase yarn for a class you are taking at Stix from Stix (whenever possible). This allows us to continue to offer fun classes to teach you new skills! If possible, please have yarn purchased and wound prior to start of class so that we can maximize your teaching time.
Both sessions hosted on Zoom.
